This is a slide show of some of the new technologies/websites I have been encouraged to experiment with in my Literacy & Technology class. I used a new tool called Picasion, and I also saved screen shots for the first time. I had trouble with this at first, but with the help of my classmates and the teacher's lounge, I was able to take an image of all the sites I helped create or created myself. As I compiled all of these images, I realized how much I have learned about the internet in less than two weeks. I can't believe I'm blogging, tweeting, linking, embedding, and transferring. I'm changing files into pdf's and saving files as jpeg's. I'm discussing Web2.0, LoTi and bookmarking. I haven't stopped thinking of all the various ways I can use these new resources in my classroom and I look forward to exploring these with my students. I still have a long way to go but the truth is...the world wide web is becoming less and less scary.
Amazing! I am very proud of you Joanne!
